Ann's mother, Pat McGriffin, has been painting
for over 50 years,
with a focus on animals, landscapes and flowers.
She has taken classes at The Herron School of Art, and studied privately with Nicholas Logsdon, Paul Sweeney, Lynn Thomsen, and RoZelma Brown.

From May through September 2019,
her recent orchid paintings
were the focus of a solo exhibit in
The Office of the President of Butler University.

Pat's painting, White Orchid, was chosen from
The Hoosier Women Artists 2020 juried exhibit
to hang in The Indiana Governor's Mansion for one year.
